BRAIN SCAPES @ The Sanctuary Space, session II

Calming The Nervous System To Expand Our Capacity For Memory

In our second monthly workshop on the brain using Art therapy, Mindfulness and Kundalini Yoga, we will look at ways to relax and calm the nervous system, expanding our ability for memory.

What are the layers that come in between us accessing information we know is in our mind? In this workshop we will work with the neuroplasticity of the brain to develop the skills required in uncovering these layers of the monkey mind so you may access information when you need it.

Offering you tools to be in control of your mind, body and life to open up to the possibilities that exist all around you.

Saturday June 15, 1-5 pm. $75, all materials included.

Livdeep Kaur’s (Charmaine Husum) background is one of an Artist, Certified Art Therapist, Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Somatic Practitioner. An area of particular interest and research has been neuroplasticity and ways in which we are able to heal our brain and optimize its functioning.  Using a Humanistic perspective that trusts in the power of individual healing and growth, she has witnessed, experienced and creates this opportunity for others.

Combining these powerful modalities of healing supports shifts in mood, spirit, emotional patterns, and energetic blocks and invites one to experience life with a sense of awe, wonder and true happiness. Both Art Therapy and Kundalini Yoga activate neurotransmitters to create and sustain new pathways to health and happiness. By integrating both hemispheres of the brain, activating the nervous system and optimizing hormonal functioning using Art Therapy, Kundalini yoga and Mindfulness, you too are invited to experience this bliss. www.centreoftheheart.com
