IKYTA membership connects certified Kundalini Yoga teachers within one global, standards-based community. Part of that trust is knowing where to turn with a concern: the IKYTA complaint process starts with EPS (Ethics and Professional Standards), the official body for ethics concerns and formal complaints. IKYTA does not manage or investigate complaints itself, but it can help you find the right channel and know what to expect.

Clear Roles, Strong Community

A trusted global community works because responsibilities are clear. KRI certifies teachers and sets the training pathway. EPS handles ethics concerns, professional conduct questions, and formal complaint procedures. IKYTA connects and supports certified teachers through membership, visibility, and community, without taking on EPS’s role. This separation isn’t a gap — it’s what lets each part of the ecosystem do its work well, so teachers, students, and organizations always know exactly where to bring a concern.

What EPS Handles

EPS is the appropriate resource for ethics concerns, professional conduct questions, and formal reporting involving a KRI-certified Kundalini Yoga teacher or KRI Teacher Trainer. This includes questions about professional boundaries, accurate representation of training, and conduct within a teaching relationship.

What IKYTA’s Role Is in the Complaint Process

IKYTA does not manage or investigate formal ethics or reporting processes. If a concern comes up, IKYTA’s role is to help you understand where the official channels are and how to reach them, not to handle the complaint itself. This way, everyone in the community can act with clarity rather than guesswork.

How to File a Complaint with EPS

Filing a complaint starts with EPS directly, through a few clear steps:
