Gururas has practiced yoga since childhood. She fell in love with Kundalini Yoga at the Gurur Ram Das Ashram where she studied and lived for 7 years. She now teaches Kundalini yoga and meditation. Gururas is a practicing acupuncture physician and herbalist, who directs a community acupuncture clinic in Tampa, Florida

She who meets her Beloved in her heart, remains united; this is truly called Union.
