The sound of Silence
In the self-development path, awareness is almost the only tool needed. It enables us seeing ourselves and once we can see, we can start choosing, distinguishing trash from essence, letting-go and changing. Yet, our mind – thoughts and emotions alike – is full of endless chatter, weed that grew wild, nourished by our constant attention, until we identify with it and the effort to become aware becomes futile. Awareness is possible only when a space of silence is created. Where we can pause the surrounding noise, realize the inner one and pause it as well. That’s what meditation is about…
