All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day stems from a belief that there is a powerful spiritual bond between those in heaven and the living. The Veil between the 2 worlds is very thin at this time. This is complimentary offering for the community “Earth” to come and practice the power of meditation which is amplified by practicing as a collective during the “Amrit Vela” hours. Guest Kundalini Teachers will be taking turns leading us all through the powerful chant.
Together, we will be practicing a meditation known as the “Morning Call” which was the first Sadhana given by Yogi Bhajan many moons ago…
“Before sunrise, when the channels of energy are most clear, if this mantra is sung in sweet harmony, you will be one with the Lord. This will open your solar plexus, charging the solar center, connecting it with cosmic energy. You will be liberated from the cycles of karma that bind you to the earth. No tongue can tell how bright the light of cosmic energy is, but when you recite this mantra daily, you will have this light within you.” –Yogi Bhajan.
The “Morning Call” consist 8 sacred sounds…
Ek=opens of the 1st Chakra grounding, trusting we are one.
Ong=opens up the 2nd Chakra primal sound activating the vibration from which creativity flows.
Kar= opens of the 3rd Chakra where miracles are made.
Sat= opens up the 4th Chakra reminding us of our truth and to lead with our hearts.
Nam= opens up the 5th Chakra reminding us of our Identity/who we are.
Siri= opens up the 6th Chakra opening and unlocking the power of the “Third Eye” where we transcend duality.
Wahe Guru= opens up the 7th Chakra where indescribable feeling of ecstasy flows from turning darkness into light.
“Through this meditation you will master the power of prana, Pavan Siddhi, until the breath of life becomes your own. It will give you the power of Vac Siddhi, the power of speech. What you say with the breath shall happen. It is hard labor. Do this Jaap, repeating it again and again until you reach 1/10th of the day: 2 1/2 hours. Your faces will be bright and beautiful and you will settle the accounts of everyone you know.” -Yogi Bhajan, A Year with the Master, July 20, 2000, p. 63
