Ever wonder how to not be swayed by the winds or influenced by the chaos of those around you? How to stay grounded and balanced?  How to go with the flow but remain true to your Self?

Nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country woods of Wimberly, Texas USA, the Healing Through Sound and Silence retreat offers a complete weekend of Kundalini Yoga, Meditation, and Gong relaxation for those courageous to learn about and live in the neutral space of shuniya

In Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, there is a concept of shuniya.  Shuniya can be translated as “The Science of Zero” and is the development of the human self.  The Science of Zero is: anything multiplied by zero becomes zero.  When our minds are in balance, we can act from a place of neutrality, rather than react to the circumstances.  When we embody our neutral self, intuition becomes our guide and allows the possibilities of the Infinite to unfold.

Are you ready to heal unproductive habits?

Live with inner peace?

Act from a place of calmness?

Consciously interact with your Self and others?

When we allow ourselves to be in the state of shuniya, we gift ourselves with an opportunity for deep healing and connection with Infinity.  In this space there is no judgement, it just is

We invite you to come

and be open to the possibilities

of what connecting to your Self,

community, and nature

attracts for you.

Your All-Inclusive Weekend Retreat Includes:

Kundalini Yoga & Meditation:

Leading this retreat will be Kundalini Yoga Master Teacher Siri Bahadur Khalsa.  Enjoy in-depth workshops with practical meditations and kriyas as we work to balance our minds, move through blocked energy, and deepen our personal understanding and experience with shuniya.  Students will be gifted with a tool kit to facilitate their home practice at the end of the retreat.

Gong Relaxation:

The gong is an amazing sound healer that accesses the whole spectrum of harmonics, creating waves of sound that vibrate the body’s meridians and bring them in to balance.  Come relax as six gongs wash over you, recalibrating your whole self and raising the frequency of your electromagnetic field.

Nature and Magical Mantra:

Bring your favorite acoustic instrument as we come together for a Bhakti Kirtan under the stars!  Through the call and response of mantras combined with a drum circle style community jam session, we surrender to love and acceptance of our Self and allow the transforming power of this luscious soundscape connect us with the Infinite.  Come ready to move, breathe, and sing!

Throughout the weekend there will also be opportunities to explore the grounds, take meditative walks, and be humbled by the stars.  Lotus Ranch is both a certified wildlife habitat and a proud member of the International Dark Sky Community!

Siri Bahadur Khalsa has devoted himself to the practice of Kundalini Yoga for more than 40 years.  As a student of Kundalini, he has completed both the 200-hour and 500-hour trainings.  He is a Master’s Touch certified teacher and teaches Level 1 and Level 2 Teacher Training modules across the United States.  “What fuels me as a teacher is finding the most experiential way to share the technology.”  Siri Bahadur elaborates on the technology of Kundalini Yoga, stating, “It’s a pretty encompassing style of yoga, incorporating movement, breath, meditation, and imagination.  It strengthens the nervous system, tones up the body, turns on the imagination, and actually brings structure to the mind. It’s a multi faceted jewel of yoga.”  Siri Bahadur Khalsa regularly teaches classes in Austin, Texas and integrates guitar and the sounds of the gong into classes.
