Event Description

**This is a free community event** at Global Breath Yoga Studio

The Aquarian Sadhana is a 2 1/2 hour spiritual practice given to us by Yogi Bhajan in 1992 which attunes the gunas, balances the chakras and prepares the psyche for the changes that we are experiencing in the Aquarian Age. We practice the Aquarian Sadhana in the Amrit Vele or the Ambrosial Hours pre-dawn. It can be practiced alone or with others. By practicing Sadhana in a group we develop Group Consciousness which can, in turn, touch the Universal Consciousness.

We begin by reading “Japji Sahib” aloud also known as “The Song of the Soul” (no previous experience is necessary & copies will be provided) which is the opening prayer of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib, the living Guru of the Sikh faith and composed by the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak. We then join together to do a Kriya/Yoga Asana Set and finish by chanting 7 different mantras together known as the the “Aquarian Sadhana Mantras” which last for 62 minutes.

Wear comfortable clothes, bring a meditation shaw or blanket and a head covering.

Yogi Tea and Fresh Fruit will be served afterwards.  Please feel free to sign up in advance.
